I came from PA where ketchup went on everything ( eggs anyone?). Where I live in Indiana now, however, Ranch is the ketchup of the Midwest. Don’t get me wrong, I love ranch as much as the next person, but my stretchy pants do not so there in lies the problem. The solution? A healthy version of ranch that can be eaten by the cup full with little to no guilt – amazeballs! This is just in time for the Super Bowl because, well here in the Midwest it may as well be a stand alone side. If you don’t want to opt for the full dip recipe, this healthy ranch seasoning is a great and quick option as well.
Ranch Dip
Ingredients
¾ Cup Non Fat Greek Yogurt
½ tsp Onion Powder
½ tsp Garlic Powder
¾ tsp Dried Dill ( or chives)
1 Tbs Parsley
Pinch of Salt & Pepper
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients together evenly. Keep in airtight container. You may add 1-2 Tablespoons unsweetened almond milk if you want to make it more of a dressing like consistency.
