Moon Dough

When I am stuck inside I am constantly looking for crafts an fun things to do with my kids, but unfortunately most end up costing a ton once I gather everything, or it takes forever to get set up.  I have a 2 ( yes TWO ) item craft that you can get both items at the Dollar Tree and spend less than $2 for multiple kids to do this project – WIN!!

Slime is my nemesis.  There, I said it.  It is gross, it is expensive ( stop taking my contact solution!) and it makes mess wherever you make it and play with it.  This simple recipe for moon dough should keep your kids of all ages happy and still gives the slime effect, if you will, to get it out of their system.    Bonus?  It uses conditioner so you can make it smell delicious.  My favorite is coconut and I buy the huge bottles for cheap just for this.

As with slime you can always add in other items such as glitter or styrofoam balls, but I prefer the basic moon dough and how it hold it’s structure and is fun to play with.  Try this easy one out and dome a favor and share if you love it!     moon dough 7moon dough 8
