Salad on a Stick

Who wants to eat healthy during the Super Bowl?  Not me!  It isn’t as tasty ( normally ) and healthy foods like salads are just cumbersome and a pain in the buttocks to eat while you are hanging out.  I came across this idea a few parties ago that are great to make salad a “poppable” and portable snack.  You can have a few of these mixed in with your wings and not feel as guilty at the end of the day – it’s a win win!

1 Head Romaine Lettuce

8 Baby Carrots

16 Baby Tomatoes



  1. Cut romaine into small 1 inch by 1 inch size portions and skewer onto a toothpick.
  2. Place baby tomato on next.
  3. Cut baby carrots in half, place one on the end of each skewer so it can stand on end

These are a great easy way for people to grab a few veggies and easy to drizzle dressing over or to dip. If someone wants a salad, they can grab a few of these and make their own – easy peasy!
